I finally got another good night to do some star trail shooting, so I went out and set up my tripod again. I think this one turned out a lot better! Unfortunately, I did make one mistake – I set the ISO way too high. So, not only is the image too bright, it’s also pretty grainy. Oh well, I still think it turned out pretty good. It’s nice that I got the house in the shot, too.
Start trails behind our house. About 1am ~ 2am.
Here’s some other shots I took tonight…
The beautiful night sky.
Can you guess what it is? It’s the moon. I took my camera off the tripod, set the shutter to bulb and moved the camera around a bit while facing the moon. This was the result.
I have a few other shots from last week that I haven’t posted yet, so I might as well just include them here as well…
Flowers on a rainy day.
Sierra again. If you click this picture to enlarge it, you can see a tiny little flying but that it looks like Sierra is looking at.
And one last shot of Sierra.
