If you remember Metal in the 80's, you weren't there

So, it turns out Veronica wasn’t gone after all! Yay! I was up until 5:30 this morning keeping her company until her shuttle arrived to take her to the airport. I went to sleep for a little bit and woke up again at 7:20 to bring Mackenzie to her dance class. The morning started out pretty dreary, rainy, sad. I dropped Mackenzie off, stopped to get some gas, went home. I was just getting to laying down and getting some sleep when I got a call from Veronica. I knew something must be wrong because she should have been on her plane when she called. She forgot her Grandma’s passport at home and she didn’t know what to do – her Grandma couldn’t get on the plane. So, she made arrangements to fly tomorrow at the same time and booked a hotel for her and her Grandma near the airport for the night. Then, she rode a shuttle back to Eau Claire where I picked her up and brought her home to get the passport. It was nice getting to see her again, and I guess it really wasn’t my last time in the apartment. I took her to Arby’s because she was very hungry like I was, and also very tired. I took her to her shuttle back to Minnesota at 3:50, and she was very happy that I got to see her off – so was I. So, she’s back at the hotel with her grandma, passports secure, things back on track. It was great to see her again before she left. Hopefully she’s getting enough rest now. After seeing her off, I went home and helped Dad move the treadmill. We went to go pick up Mom at work and went out to eat at Noodles and Company. I dropped off my application at Family Video, and I have to call them tomorrow to let them know that I’ll stay there while I’m in school. Sounds like a fun place, that Family Video. I love movies. Speaking of movies, I watched one of my many movies from my ‘movies to watch list’ – This is Spinal Tap, a “Rockumentary,” but more of a Comedy really. It was pretty amusing. It reminded me of Some Kind Of Monster, the Metallica documentary. Only a lot shorter. Everyone in those Metal bands are so easily upset-able. One little thing will set them off, and they’ll quit the band or break something. Famous people… Side-note: This house is really hot…
