All of last week was midterm exams and not much is new, so here are two new movies.
Is a new movie about the sun dying out (in the year 2037) and the attempt Earth makes to “re-start” it with a giant bomb. A lot of this movie doesn’t make much sense. It doesn’t explain why the sun is dying out in the year 2037 for one. For two, if the sun were to die out, Earth would have already been burned up by its expansion. Lastly, I really doubt that there is enough material on earth to fashion a bomb large enough to create a new sun out of a dying one. Because I couldn’t really get over these things while I was watching the movie, I don’t think I enjoyed it as much as I could have if I had just ignored it. It was okay.
Perfume: The Story of a Murderer:
Everything about this movie is strange. From the concept to the presentation to the characters, it’s all pretty messed up and dark. I don’t recommend this to any people who don’t like dark films or can’t handle gore. It was probably the strangest movie I’ve seen. It’s hard to describe, if you’re curious go ahead and see it. I think you will be as surprised as I was.
Anyways, I think that’s all that’s new.
